FASHION ILLUSTRATION — "DRAWING/RENDERING FUR AND OUTERWEAR"

Fashion Illustration "DRAWING/RENDERING FUR AND OUTERWEAR" , students will learn techniques for drawing and rendering realistic fur textures as well as various outerwear fabrics. Students will work on their individual drawings/designs with instructor feedback and corrections. At the end class, students will have new rendering techniques that they can practice and apply their art, future career or design portfolio.

Students will:

• Learn drawing techniques for Outerwear design.

• Render fur and other heavy weight fabrics using different art mediums.

• Learn about various garment construction methods used in creating outerwear.

• Learn from instructor demonstrations/tutorials.

• Draw and receive instructor feedback.

• Create and take-home corrected fashion illustrations to work from in the future.

Paper, pencils, and a 3-ring notebook with sheet protectors will be provided to first-time students. Returning students should bring their notebook with them to class so that they may add to their portfolio.

It is also recommended that students bring any additional art supplies they desire such as colored pencils, watercolors, or markers.
